Abstract

The invention relates to a femoropatellar prosthesis for the knee joint. The femoral piece 1 has the shape of a curved metal shoe. It slides on the tibial plateau 2 made of high-density polyethylene. 1 - Partial knee prosthesis, characterized in that it comprises in combination - at least one metallic femoral piece (1) in the shape of a pa

a curved tin to replace a damaged condyle - a tibial plateau (2) in synthetic material resistant to

friction; - a metal base (3) the upper part of which carries

the tibial plateau (2), and the lower part of which is

grooved in (4) to allow it to be anchored on a surface

2 - Prosthesis according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises two femoral parts (1) each in the form of a curved pad, both bearing on the same tibial plateau (2).

3 - Prosthesis according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that each femoral part (1) comprises, at the rear, an anchoring stud (6) capable of being snapped into a plug (7) made of material synthetic, the latter having flexible external fins (8) capable of being anchored by forced insertion into a cavity of the femur.

4 - Prosthesis according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is compatible with a shield or a patellar casing (5), possibly associated with a patella prosthesis (9).

5 - Prosthesis according to claim 4, characterized in that the patellar shield or casing (5) has a toric shape and comprises tenons (10) allowing its anchoring in place of the damaged trochlea.

6 - Prosthesis according to claim 4, caraco terized in that it is supplemented by a prosthesis 9) of the internal face of the patella, attached to the back of the natural patella.
