Abstract

FOLLOWING THE INVENTION THE COLUMN-BASE 1 OF THE BOWL 2 INCLUDES A TANK 3 CONTAINING A PREDETERMINED QUANTITY OF WATER PROVIDED FOR RINSING AND PROVIDED TO THE DISTRIBUTION MEANS 10 TO THE BOWL FOR THE RINSING REQUIRED, THE SAID DISTRIBUTION BEING PROVIDED BY THE RINSING ACTION OF A PUMP 9 DRAWING WATER IN ITS RESERVOIR, WHILE A MEANS OF WATER LEVEL CONSTITUTED BY A TUBE 4 IMMERTING IN THE TANK IS CONNECTED TO A PRESSURE SWITCH TO WHICH ELECTROVALVE 6 IS SERVICED, IN SUCH KIND THAT THE DROP IN THE LEVEL IN THE TANK DETERMINES BY ACTION ON THE PRESSURE SWITCH THE ACTION OF THE SOLENOID VALVE, WHILE THE Raising of the said LEVEL CUT THE WATER SUPPLY BY ITS ACTION ON THE PRESSURE SWITCH, THE SAID ACTION INTERRUPTING THE OPERATION OF THE 'SOLENOID VALVE.

Description

Device for rinsing a toilet bowl by means

water supplied without pressure.

  The subject of the present invention is a device intended to supply water to a toilet bowl with a view to rinsing it, using water arriving without pressure device also intended to prohibit any back-siphoning of the water having rinsed and so to be compliant

  regulatory requirements existing in some countries.

  The following description will show that this

  device fully satisfies these three conditions.

  Reference is made to the appended drawing which is indicative and which represents an embodiment in diagrammatic section, with in this example association with a toilet bowl provided with rinsing means as described in the patent application.

  In this figure, the base 1 of the bowl 2 includes a reservoir 15 3 in which is immersed a tube 4 connected to a pressure switch 5

  electrically connected to one solenoid valve 6 by link 7.

  In this example there is shown in dotted lines a motor pump assembly 8 ensuring the grinding of the materials and the required evacuation.

  A pump 9 is provided to draw the water contained in the reservoir 20 see 3 in order to ensure at 10 the distribution of rinsing water from

the bowl.

  We. thus understands that the activation of the pump 9 controlled by the user by means of a timer lowers the water level in the tank 3. Under these conditions, the drop in level determines the decompression inside the tube 4. This decompression being total when the water level reaches a point lower than the lower end of the tube 4, it results therefrom by means of the pressure switch 5 the opening of the solenoid valve 6, from which results l liquid supply to the reservoir 3. When the level again reaches its maximum, the total compression of the tube 4 causes, by means of the pressure switch 5, to interrupt the operation of the solenoid valve 6. The pressure switch 5 is adjusted by so as to interrupt the operation of the solenoid valve 6 before the level reaches the overflow level ll through the upper part of the tank, which is located at least 3 cm. below the end 10 12 of the tube water supply, according to requirements

  regulatory prohibiting any reverse-siphoning effect.

  It is understood that in the example shown, the flushing device according to the invention is shown associated with a toilet bowl conforming to that described in the aforementioned patent application No. 82 14150 of August 16, 1982, but that it is applicable to any toilet bowl comprising a motor-pump (or grinder) assembly for discharging the bowl, controlled by the operation by the user of a push button determining with the evacuation

  of the cuvette a rinsing thereof timed or not.

Claims (2)

  1. Device for controlling flushing water dispensed without pressure in a toilet bowl, characterized in that the base column (1) of the bowl (2) includes a reservoir (3) containing a predetermined quantity of water provided for rinsing and brought by distribution means (10) to the bowl for the required rinsing, said distribution being ensured by the action of a pump (9) drawing from said tank, while Q''an informant means (4) water level is provided to activate a   solenoid valve until filling level (11) of said tank.   2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the level informant means dans.le tank consists of a tube immersed in the latter and connected to a pressure switch to which the solenoid valve is controlled, so that the drop level in said tank determines by action on said pressure switch the action of the solenoid valve, while the rise in said level stops the water supply by its action on the pressure switch, said action interrupting the operation of the solenoid valve.
