Abstract

The present invention relates to tables and chairs which, by folding up, take up a minimum of space in the closed-up position. This device comprises vertically foldable elements and thus allows a considerable saving of space. It comprises four arms 2, forming the base for the leg 1, which fold up vertically, a device sliding along the central leg 1 which ensures the unfolding and folding-up of the elements 4 forming the platform (top surface). This device is equipped with a lever making it possible to lock and unlock the assembly.
