  The object of the present invention is to obtain, from a folding painter's upholstery table and in particular from the constituent elements of the tray, another table whose width and length can be substantially increased by a

single operation.

  This particular design makes it possible to meet (among other things) the need of craftsmen painters for the installation of wallpapers or wall coverings based on fabrics whose dimensions (width and / or length) tend to

increase.

  This particularity is obtained by means of a plate, divided into two half

  trays of equal area, each consisting of two overlapping panels and

  hinged together by double hinge hinges.

  According to Figures 1, 2 and 3, the folding tapestry table shown comprises

  two half-trays 1 and 2 composed respectively of two panels 3 and 4.

  The spacing and the rigidity of the feet 15 and 16 are ensured by bars 18 articulated at 19 on the feet 15 and hooking at their end 22 on the cross member 20 of the feet 16. The tension provided by these bars 18 brings

  the feet 15 in abutment on the two half-frames 8 to obtain a large sta-

bility of the whole table.

  All these arrangements, described above, allow the table to be folded down by unhooking the bars 18 from the cross member 20, from the feet 16, the bars 18 fold around their axis 21 then rotate around the articulation 19 of the feet 15, the end 22 is then hooked on the crosspiece 23

feet 15.

  According to Figure 6, the assembly thus formed can be folded around

axis 17 in the half-frames 8.
