Claims

1.- Jewel frame such as a pendant or brooch, of the type consisting of a support capable of receiving a decorative element such as a coin, medal, jewelery or the like, characterized in that it consists of two plates (2,2 ') twinned and secured in a removable manner one against the other, the two plates being shaped by reserving in their interface a space capable of constituting a receptacle receiving the decorative element (1) thus trapped between the two plates, at least one of the two plates being provided with a substantially central opening (3), this plate thus constituting a frame allowing the vision of the decorative element through said opening.

2.- jewelry mount according to claim 1, characterized in that the two plates (2,2 ') are substantially symmetrical according to a plane of symmetry formed by their interface which constitutes the receiving housing of the central decorative element (1) and the two plates are both provided with a central opening (3.3 ′) allowing the vision of the decorative element, by the two faces of the jewel.

Frame according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the internal face of each plate, facing the twin plate, comprises, near the edge of the interior opening, a hollow shoulder (6, 6 ') making it possible to house and block the edges of the decorative object (1), such as coin or medal and whose peripheral edges come to bear on the shoulders of each tray, the decorative element thus being trapped by its edges between the two perforated plates (2,2 ') forming a peripheral frame.

6.- Frame according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the joining of the two plates against one another is obtained by a set of screws.

7.- Frame according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that each plate has on its edges an eyelet (4), positioned so that the two eyelets are in the vicinity of one another in the assembly position of the two plates face to face, the two eyelets thus being able to receive a bail (7), the assembly then constituting a pendant.

8.- Frame according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the central opening of each plate is circular, the periphery of each plate being polygonal, the sides of the polygon constituting the large base of a trapezoidal facet.

Frame according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the inner edges of the shoulders 6,6 'are provided with a coating of a non-deformable material or with a low coefficient of friction, for example a teflon-coated resin or other, allowing on the one hand to ensure a take-up of games such that the housing corresponding to a plate can adapt to a certain range of part diameter, the deformable material constituting a mattress avoiding any free play between the part and the edges of the shoulder.
