Abstract

The appts. emits light to give a physiological effect through the skin, and contains a casing with a window through which a flashing light shines and at least one coloured filter placed between the lamp and the window. A removable cover is situated on the back face of the casing and a transparent cover on the window. Between the window and the lamp is contained at least one coloured filter combined with a piece of fabric placed in front of it. This piece of fabric is impregnated by active substances which are diluted and activated by the Hahnemann methods. The lamp has predetermined illumination and extinction times varying between 1 and 3 seconds, with a flashing period varying between 2 and 6 seconds.

Description

 The present invention relates to a new light emission apparatus for producing various physiological effects via the skin.

 This apparatus, which comprises a casing, is a casing body pierced with a window on its front face, an electrical device called flasher, is an electrical circuit provided with a switch, batteries supplying this circuit and d a lamp connected to the circuit and intended to flash, a support on which is mounted said electrical device and which is fixed in the housing body, such that said lamp is directed towards said window, and at least one color filter maintained in said housing body between said lamp and said window, is characterized in that said housing body is closed by a removable cover on its rear face, in that said window is closed by a plate of transparent material, in that said apparatus further comprises an assembly consisting of at least one color filter and a layer of tissue placed in front of the filter, the fabric being impregnated with diluted active substances and dyn according to Hahnemann's methods and said assembly being held in place in the case body between said window thereof and the lamp of the electrical device, and in that said flasher is provided for illumination times and times predetermined extinction times varying between 1 and 3 seconds, the flash period varying in these conditions between 2 and 6 seconds. The composition of the color filter-cloth layer assembly is determined for each apparatus, depending on
the particular use of it.

 This assembly is advantageously sandwiched between the transparent material plate closing the window of the housing and another plate of transparent material held in place in front of the lamp of the electrical device.

 The apparatus of the invention combines the dermal effects of metallotherapy and herbal medicine diluted and boosted Hahnemannian expression, as well as phototherapy. The metals, metalloids and plants employed combine their effects with those of intermittent light emissions of appropriately chosen wavelengths, the blinking provoking a physiological reaction in the person subjected to the action of the apparatus.

 The two examples below illustrate in detail the use of the apparatus in two particular cases.

Example 1 Apparatus for falling asleep
As color filters, "Wratten" filters from the Kodak firm are used. We use a combination of two juxtaposed filters. Several combinations are possible, but the most effective is the following: blue # 44-magenta # 31.
