Abstract

The device is for displaying the tuning voltage or frequency band of a touch-tuned TV receiver on its screen and comprises a ramp generator (1) which receives line sweep return pulses (VH) and provides a ramp signal to one input (21) of a first comparator (2), the ramp voltage linearly increasing during forward line sweep periods. The comparator compares the ramp voltage with the tuning voltage (VA) at its other input, the former's peak value being greater than the latter, and applies the resulting signal for addition with a sawtooth frame signal (VT) and a band identification fixed voltage (VC) in a second transistor comparator (44). The resulting signal is applied to a contrast regulator (9) to which the contrast video signal is also applied, the band identification voltage (VC) determining the height and the tuning voltage (VA) determining the width of a light tuning bar shown on the screen.
