Abstract

The suspension device includes a combination of a centralised and simultaneous control of movable supports at a height, which acts on the load at two longitudinally spaced areas close to two suspension hooks and a mechanism inserted between these two areas which produces a balancing of the forces transmitted to the two hooks. The two hooks carrying the load below the aircraft swivel round link axes connected by the balancing lever mechanism thus ensuring an equal distribution of the forces. Thus the load height can be defined by lowering of the hook supports by controlled force transmission, either downwards, or by tilting.
