Abstract

The lens fixing comprises a ring (3) mounted on the camera (1). This ring has a flat top surface and is provided with an outer (4) and an inner (11) screw thread. The latter thread is used for attaching a normal accessory. The lens attachment (2) has a collar flange (8) on its end, the exposed surface being flat and provided with a dowel (9). This dowel fits into a matching hole (1) in the camera mount and the assembly is secured by screwing down a captive collar nut (5) on the lens attachment, after locating a spigot.
