Abstract

The pallet consists of a box supported on two cross members. The cross members are rigid rectangular sectioned members which are opened at both ends to receive e.g. the tines of a fork lift. The top part of the member has an adhesive layer and an elastic layer so that the cross-members may be stuck onto the bottom of the box. The elastic material acts as a shock absorber. The base is secured to the box by metal strips which pass through the slot in the cross members.
