Abstract

The pallet support base has a number of box beams each having a flat base and a flat top. The beam has two end and one central rib (3a, 3b). The space between the ribs, has a chevron edge, so that the forks of the lifting truck can rid up through the base beam. The top of each beam has fixing holes (7) to hold the base plate of the pallet. The corners of the beam are cut away (10) for the mounting of corner uprights for containing the load. The base supports are fixed along parallel lines below the base equidistantly.
