Abstract

A soft, shock absorbing, covering used on the bar of a ski lift chair. It consists of a cushion (14) covering the front edge of a rigid bar (12) of the seat. The covering is not symmetrical, the front (20) is flat and has a stop above the bar itself. The covering has fixing lips (24) (26) for fixing by adhesive to the bar. These lips practically enclose the entire bar. The covering is made of a soft integral plastics material. Its front surface is equal to roughly double the section of the bar.
