Abstract
Procédé et dispositif permettant de réaliser l'équilibrage des corps tournants à suspension magnétique radiale passive et axiale active et d'orienter leur axe de rotation. On fait comporter aux extrémités axiales du corps 1 deux centreurs côté rotor 2, 3 constitués de couronnes magnétiques centrées et excentrées en regard de deux centreurs coté stator 4, 5 à couronnes magnétiques centrées et excentrées, le champ magnétique dans les entrefers 8, 9 entre les paires de couronnes étant rendu variable en fonction de signaux reçus de capteurs de correction d'axes 34, 35 et d'alignement 36, 37, 38, 39. L'invention peut être utilisée dans tous les cas d'équilibrage d'un corps suspendu magnétiquement et notamment dans des applications à l'ultracentrifugation, aux volants d'inertie, aux sismographes.
