Abstract

The flexible and adjustable panel for a car sun visor, is moulded and fitted to a pivot shaft. There is a frame (2) holding a pivot sleeve (3) which can be secured axially and rotationally. The frame is of wire and the sleeve is made of an elastomeric material. The sleeve has an internal film of low coefficient of friction, pref. fluorcarbonate resin. The frame-sleeve connection is by external axial throats on the sleeve (for rotation) and by an end stop (for axial fixing). The frame is bent up to a roughly rectangular shape.
