Abstract

The pressure cooker valve has a housing mounted on the lid of the cooker, and a cylindrical cavity in the side of which is an outlet. A valve body is mounted in the cavity and has at least one duct leading from its base and coming out in a side on a level underneath the outlet when in its rest position. The valve body and the valve housing can pivot relative to each other from a position in which the duct is at an angle away from the outlet to a position in which the duct is on a level with the outlet.
