Abstract
L'invention concerne un moteur à combustion interne dont les cylindres sont répartis en un premier et un second groupe, et qui comprend un passage d'échappement pourvu d'un catalyseur à son extrémité aval. Selon l'invention, une séparation 40a, 40b s'étend dans le passage d'échappement 14 entre le bloc-cylindres 10 et le voisinage du catalyseur 26, de sorte que les gaz d'échappement sortant du premier groupe de cylindres 1 à 3 soient conduits directement au catalyseur 26 sans être recyclés vers le second groupe de cylindres 4 à 6. L'invention concerne les moteurs à combustion interne du type partagé.
