Abstract

Dispositif stérile servant à recueillir et à séparer le sang. La présente invention décrit un dispositif pré-emballé servant à recueillir et à séparer le sang, ainsi que le procédé de fabrication de ce dispositif, lequel contient un mélange de polybutadiène liquide et une charge minérale inerte, telle que de la silice, sous forme d'un gel thixotropique apte, au repos, à former une barrière étanche 11a entre les phases du sang séparées 24a, 25a. Le dispositif et le gel sont soumis à une sterilisation par radiation pour former un dispositif essentiellement stérile, essentiellement exempt de contamination par reflux, sans dégrader les propriétés physiques du geL
