Abstract

The storage drums are made from steel and have a rolled top flange so that a lid(6) may be held into position by a screwed circumferential hoop(7). The lid may contain a filler cap. The drum is fitted with two reinforcing hoops around the top half made by rolling a rib from the drum material. The lower half of the drum has two tapering sections(3, 4) so that the open drums may be stacked into each other when empty.
