Abstract

The measuring transformer includes a moulded plastic box which encloses the transformer windings and the connection terminals of primary and secondary windings. The box (1) has a plate (2) to which a hood may be attached. Various hoods may be attached, providing different depths (3, 3a, 3b) according to the volume of the particular transformer, which is related to its intended power. Moulded fixing points (P1, S1, S2) formed in the plate (2) receive the transformer connection terminals. The terminals may be held in place by hooks formed in the wall (13) of the hood.
