Abstract

The thermostatic mixing valve has a body with a double seat, with the control components fitted in a pipe casing which is inserted in a hole in the valve housing. The pipe casing (15) is thin-walled and has a face side (17) which is drawn inwards in the area of the double seat valve body (14). This body, with a piston guide part, projects from the pipe casing. It is displaceably located in a hole in the dividing wall of the two channels (20, 21) for cold and hot water.
