Abstract

The clamping device may have connecting heads (4, 5) for chain links, shackles, rings, bolts, belts or cables. The distance between the connecting heads (4, 5) can be varied by means of a screw device (1, 2). In order to be able to produce such clamping devices in a cost-saving manner, the connecting heads (4, 5) are not constructed integrally with the threaded bolts (1) which belong to the screw device (1, 2), but threaded bolts (1) are used to one of whose ends one connecting head (4, 5) is in each case detachably attached. The separate construction of the threaded bolts (1) and of the connecting heads (4, 5) results in production-engineering advantages, and the threaded bolt (1) can in each case be combined with different connecting heads (4, 5).
