Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet une méthode de traitement de l'acné vulgaire. Elle est caractérisée en ce que l'on applique, sur la peau des sujets atteints, une quantité thérapeutiquement suffisante d'acide salicylique et de peroxyde de benzoyle pendant une durée suffisante pour éliminer les symptômes de l'acné, la concentration de l'acide salicylique appliqué étant de 3 à 7 % environ en poids par rapport à la composition le renfermant et la concentration du peroxyde de benzoyle étant comprise entre 3 et 20 % en poids environ par rapport à la composition le renfermant, ces pourcentages étant exprimés en poids par rapport aux combinaisons renfermant l'acide salicylique seul, le peroxyde de benzoyle seul ou leur combinaison. Elle se rapporte à des compositions thérapeutiques topiques ou locales utilisées à cette fin et, plus particulièrement, des compositions stables.
