Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé d'impression pour la réalisation d'un dessin continu au moyen d'une plaque offset ou lithographique à joints, ainsi qu'une machine pour mettre en oeuvre ce procédé. On amène dans une zone d'impression un matériau continu à imprimer supporté par un élément transporteur, on met en contact un cylindre porte-plaque ou porte-blanchet tournant de façon continue à vitesse constante avec ce matériau que l'on fait avancer à une vitesse synchronisée avec celle de ce cylindre, en vue du transfert au matériau d'une image d'encre se trouvant sur ce cylindre, on supprime le contact entre le cylindre et le matériau, puis on fait reculer le matériau d'une petite distance tout en commandant son avance de façon que la relation représentée par la formule suivante : a = b + c dans laquelle a est la distance d'avance du matériau, b sa distance de recul et c la longueur de répétition du motif, soit observée, et on répète ces opérations.
