Abstract
L'invention concerne les circuits intégrés optiques. L'invention montre que l'on peut faire fonctionner une cavité optique, définie par deux miroirs 24, selon un nouveau mode qui permet d'obtenir en sortie un train d'impulsions lumineuses, à partir d'une puissance d'entrée pratiquement constante. Pour cela, on rend la cavité optique non linéaire en faisant varier sa longueur effective en fonction de la puissance de sortie, grâce à un dispositif d'entraînement piézoélectrique 25. Application aux télécommunications optiques.
