Abstract

The compressor-type refrigerator is particularly for storing wine or vegetables, having heat-insulating walls and an interior rack system supporting the contents. The rack system (10) is a self-supporting structure, to which the walls (12) are fixed. The walls can be plates of lightweight foam, joined together by angle sections cut to size and secured to the racks by straps. At the rear there can be vertical angle sections (A) with grooves for the foam plates, and at the front other such sections also having horizontal portions with two grooves, for plates joining together in the same plane.
