Abstract

The swashplate machine has a rotating cylinder block, pistons in the cylinders which project from one end of the cylinder block and engage with the flat surface of a swash plate whose inclination is adjustable. A drive shaft for the cylinder block extends through a central hole in the swash plate, and fixes the block, swash plate and drive shaft, and this contains also a flat valve surface on which the cylinder block can rotate. Two bearing pins (12, 13) for the swash plate (11) can engage with the housing (1), and are fitted on the side of the plate's flat surface (25) turned away from the cylinder block (9).
