Abstract

The pallet has a floor (4) supported by an assembly of blocks (1, 2) which form distance pieces mounted on sole plates (7, 8). The blocks leave free spaces on either side between the floor and the sole plates for passage of forks of a handling appliance. The blocks are located exclusively in the region of the longitudinal axis through the pallet. The blocks may be disposed along the short sides of the pallet. The sole plates may be parallel to the short sides of the pallet and of the same width as the blocks.
