Abstract
L'invention concerne l'industrie du bâtiment. Elle a pour objet de nouveaux agents expansifs obtenus par chauffage d'une chaux d'une granulométrie inférieure à 250 mu dans une atmosphère comprenant de la vapeur d'eau à 100-400 degrés C ou du dioxyde de carbone à 350-850 degrés C ou par chauffage d'une chaux partiellement hydratée à au moins 100 degrés C. Les chaux encapsulées ainsi obtenues sont utiles dans des compositions cimentaires hydratables, en quantité généralement de moins de 30 % et de préférence de 3 à 10 %, sur la base du poids du ciment et de l'additif. La composition de l'invention est préférée pour la fabrication de produits manufacturés façonnés sans retrait au séchage.The invention relates to the building industry.
