Abstract

L'invention concerne des particules de carbure de silicium enrobées d'alumine et utiles comme dispersoïde abrasif dans des gangues métalliques. La matière de l'invention est constituée de particules de carbure de silicium comportant individuellement un enrobage constitué principalement d'alumine afin d'empêcher leur diffusion dans la gangue métallique à des températures élevées, prolongeant ainsi leur durée de vie utile en tant que dispersoïde abrasif. L'invention est utilisée plus spécialement pour la fabrication des extrémités abrasives des aubes des turbines à gaz.
