Abstract

L'invention concerne un bandage pneumatique robuste pour véhicules utilitaires tous terrains. Le bandage pneumatique comporte, sur l'une au moins de ses faces latérales, une nervure protectrice 5 divisée en deux parties 7 et 8 par une partie d'articulation, de préférence en forme de rainure 6, permettant de limiter les contraintes de tension produites sur la surface extérieure de la nervure protectrice lorsque le bandage est déformé sous charge. Le bandage présente une résistance améliorée aux coupures latérales qui se produisent lors de l'utilisation sur des véhicules utilitaires tous terrains.
