Abstract
a. L'invention concerne un procédé pour éviter la formation d'oxydes sur des produits laminés à chaud par un revêtement appliqué immédiatement à la sortie des derniers cylindres lamineurs. b. Le dispositif de revêtement est constitué par un lit fluidisé dans lequel le produit laminé reçoit de la poudre de verre maintenue en suspension par un gaz porteur, cette poudre fondant au contact du laminé. c. Le métal laminé est ainsi protégé par une mince couche de verre fondu que l'on peut ensuite éliminer après refroidissement laissant ainsi une surface exempte d'oxydes.
