Abstract
Procédé et dispositif pour appliquer un agent de transformation de la calamine sur une bande d'acier laminée à chaud. Le procédé selon la présente invention permet de transformer la calamine secondaire formée sur une bande d'acier laminée à chaud en projetant un agent de transformation de la calamine à l'état solide, en poudre ou en granulés sur une bande d'acier qui se déplace, après ou pendant le laminage à chaud, après l'enlèvement de la calamine primaire, les particules d'agent de transformation de la calamine étant à l'état fondu au moins au niveau de leur surface, juste avant qu'elles rencontrent la surface de la bande assurant ainsi un rendement de revêtement élevé. Application au traitement de bandes ou tôles d'acier laminées à chaud pour contrôler les propriétés physiques et chimiques de la calamine afin de les rendre favorables pour les opérations de formage de ces produits qui seront effectués ensuite.
