Abstract

Article en caoutchouc, notamment bande transporteuse, dont l'armature comporte au moins une partie en un polyester résultant de la polycondensation d'acide téréphtalique et d'éthylène glycol, caractérisé en ce que un composé constitué par un des métaux suivants : calcium, baryum strontium, zinc, magnésium, aluminium associé à une des fonctions suivantes : oxyde hydroxyde, carbonate, oxalate, acétate, sulfate est ajouté au caoutchouc pour éviter qu'en cas d'incendie soient libérées des quantités gênantes d'acide téréphtalique.
