1349856 Impregnating polyesters IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 5 July 1971 [11 Aug 1970] 38630/70 Heading D1P [Also in Division C3] A polyester material is impregnated with an aromatic ester of carbonic acid in which at least one esterifying aromatic group is free from electron-attracting substituents and the impregnated material is brought into contact with rubber. The one esterifying aromatic group may contain hydrocarbon or ether substituents. Other esterifying groups where present may contain electron attracting substituents e.g. halogen, nitro, cyano or carboalkoxy.
