Abstract

Préparation de solutions de résines urée-formaldéhyde durcissables. On fait réagir à 70-95 degrés C pendant 10-30 mn une solution aqueuse d'urée et de formaldéhyde en rapport molaire de 1:1,5 à 1:2,5 avec 0,2 à 1,0 mmol d'un acide aminosulfonique et 20 à 100 mmol d'ammoniac par mole d'urée, jusqu'à ce que la solution à 50% présente à 20 degrés C une viscosité de 55 à 65 c P; on ajoute 0,8 à 10 mmol d'un acide aminosulfonique, on maintient au moyen d'ammoniac un pH de 4,0 à 4,5 pendant 10-25 mn à 70-95 degrés C jusqu'à ce que la solution à 50 % présente à 20 degrés C une viscosité de 80 à 110 cP; on ajoute 40 à 200 mmol d'ammoniac et 0,1 à 0,3 mole d'urée et on fait réagir à 70-95 degrés C pendant 15-45 mn jusqu'à ce que la solution à 50 % présente à 20 degrés C une viscosité de 85 à 125 cP. Selon l'invention on ajoute à la première étape, à raison de 1 à 10 %, un produit de polymérisation sous forme d'émulsion ou de suspension, formé de monomères de formule :
