Abstract

The incinerator toilet has a two-part housing (1, 2) in which a burner arrangement, a fan unit, and an electric control device for controlling the incineration cycle are arranged. An exhaust air duct (51) is connected to the housing and an inlet (14) is provided for introducing the waste to be incinerated. A pan (4) accommodated in an isolated manner in a lower part of the housing has an incineration chamber (7). A temperature sensor (44) connected to a controllable thermostat lies loosely in a guide tube (45) which is guided downwards behind the pan and is fastened to the bottom of the pan. An ignition electrode (39) with a variable insertion depth protrudes into the opening of a burner nozzle (32). An ignition transformer connected to the ignition electrode serves for providing an intermittent ignition spark throughout the duration of burning. Only a single thermostat with a temperature sensor is required for controlling the incineration cycle, which is very advantageous.
