Abstract

L'invention concerne un joint de tuyaux à emboîtement Ledit joint comprend une tulipe d'un premier tuyau dans laquelle une garniture d'étanchéité annulaire est ajustée dans un évidement annulaire ménagé dans sa surface interne et un bout mâle d'un second tuyau qui est introduit dans la tulipe pour raccorder les tuyaux. Les formes et dimensions de l'évidement annulaire et de la garniture sont choisies de façon à établir un bon raccordement sans que la garniture risque d'être entraînée par le bout mâle même dans le cas de tuyaux de diamètres grands et moyens. Une bague fendue de blocage peut venir au contact d'une bride formée sur la surface interne de la tulipe et est logée dans une gorge annulaire du bout mâle pour empêcher un glissement de ce dernier hors de la tulipe. Application à un joint à emboîtement pour tuyaux de grande dimension destiné à des canalisations enterrées.
