Abstract
Le procédé selon la présente invention permet de former des bandes métalliques continues 5 en éjectant un métal en fusion 2 sur la surface d'un organe de refroidissement 1 qui se déplace sous l'effet d'une pression à travers une buse fendue placée très près de la surface de l'organe de refroidissement. En choisissant les dimensions de la buse, la vitesse de déplacement de la surface de l'organe de refroidissement et l'espacement entre la buse et la surface de l'organe de refroidissement, on obtient des bandes métalliques ayant des propriétés mécaniques isotropes en traction et allongement et d'autres propriétés physiques isotropes telles que l'aptitude à la magnétisation.
