Abstract

Suivant ce procédé, on forme une pâte en matière de friction contenant un ciment durcissable et une proportion substantielle de charge fibreuse, on extrude la pâte et on enroule en spirale le produit d'extrusion pour obtenir une ébauche en forme de disque, et on moule et durcit l'ébauche pour obtenir une garniture de friction circulaire, la charge fibreuse comportant des brins discontinus de fibres orientés, lors de l'extrusion, suivant l'axe longitudinal du produit d'extrusion. Les garnitures de friction ainsi obtenues conviennent en particulier pour les plateaux menés d'embrayage et les freins à disques de véhicules automobiles
