Abstract
Procédé de préparation de xylane et de matières fibreuses à partir de matières premières végétales contenant du xylane. Le procédé de l'invention se caractérise en ce qu'on effectue le traitement à la vapeur sous avec de la vapeur saturée, à des températures de 160 à 230 degrés C et pendant 2 minutes à 4 heures, on épuise avec une solution aqueuse les matières premières végétales ainsi désagrégées, on sépare de la solution des xylanes et fragments de molécules de xylane à l'état purifié, surtout des monosaccharides et, le cas échéant, d'autres impuretés, si on le désire on hydrolyse en xylose les xylanes et fragments de molécules de xylane, le cas échéant sous forme de solution obtenue et sans isolement particulier et, si on le désire, on réduit en xylitol, de manière connue en soi, le xylose, le cas échéant sous forme de la solution obtenue et sans isolement particulier.
