Abstract

The hook assembly is particularly for mooring boats, comprising a hook end (1) with a hollow stem (3) accommodating a pole (4). This works in conjunction with locking devices mounted on one of the stem faces, and on the arm of the hook end fixed to the stem. The locking devices may comprise a dog (11) pivoting on the stem, working with a lug (7) pivoting on the hook end and engaging in its notch. The lug and dog are coupled together by a spring (10). The stem can be bell-mounted for ease of insertion of the pole, which is pulled clear of the hook when this is attached to the mooring point.
