Abstract
The compsn. contains an association of mucopolysaccharidases opt. with hyaluronidase and >=1 of the active cpds. chosen from 3,5,3'-triiodo-thyroacetic acid or its esters and salts; 3,5,3'-triiodothyrobutyric acid or its esters and salts; acetozolamide and aescin. The mucopolysaccharidases and hyaluronidase enzymes hydrolyse the mucopolysaccharides and hyaluronic acid respectively allowing intercommunication of the cellulo-fatty tissue and lipid mobilisation and giving better penetration of cpds. applied to the skin and better diffusion of cpds. administered sub-cutaneously. Acetazolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor and regulates water-metabolism and the carbon dioxide present for the local synthesis of fatty acids. Aescin has casoprotective activity and avoids oedema formation.
