Abstract

The shoulder bag has at each side two slots reinforced by a rigid bar. Each end of the strap (4) fits into the rigid bar, (5). One end of the small bar (5) has locking device (6) and the other end a stop ring (7). The strap (4) can slide through the stop ring (7). The locking device (6) and stop ring (7) are in one piece. The locking device (6) has a lever (9) which pivots on a axle (10) at right angles to the small bar (5), with the arm (11) of the lever (9) projecting outwards from the locking device (6). The other arm of the lever ends in a catch (12). The lever (9) is operated by a spring. The locking device (6) also incorporates a groove (15) which is almost cylindrical, leaving an opening (16) on the surface narrower than the dia. of the groove (15).
