Abstract

This indicator light circuit for motor cycles with alternators has a rectifier (12) and condenser (10) in series with a two way switch to the indicator lamps (3, 4, 5). A time circuit with a second condenser (13) and a resistor (14) is connected in parallel with the first condenser (10). The emitter of a unijunction transistor (15) is connected between the resistor (13) and the second condenser (13). The bases of the transistor (15) are connected to the negative and positive poles of the first condenser (10) to control a second transistor (19) whose collector and emitter are connected the first condenser (10) and with the grid of a TRIAC (21) which is in parallel with the first condenser (10) and rectifier (12). This provides a time control for the indicator lamps independent of the speed of the alternators.
