Abstract

The three point attachment is for use with a tractor having a portal frame. This comprises two side frames with front and rear wheels and an upper deck carrying the engine. The attachment enables standard agricultural tools to be used. It has an arm each side, pivoting on the frame and raised or lowered by hydraulic cylinders. Tensioning chains are fitted and these arms form the two lower points. The upper central point is provided by two arms, pivoting at deck level. These are bent upwards to preserve the correct geometry and meet at a common point at the rear.
