Abstract

The conduit is used for drawing liquid into a tanker from another smaller storage vessel, e.g. collecting milk from a churn. Suction in the tanker is creating by connecting a different conduit to the engine air intake. Between the flexible conduit and the milk suction tube is a tapping bottle for drawing off a preliminary sample to avoid contamination of the whole tanker contents. The tapping bottle (12) has a capillary tube (9) with a pointed end inserted in the conduit wall with a butyl rubber stopper (13). The conduit (7) is connected to a suction source, to draw milk into the test bottle.
