Abstract

The working platform is mounted on a frame which wedges between successive floors of the building. When the unit is in position the unit projects beyond the building. The unit is esp. useful during the finishing operations on buildings of which teh sub strcture has been erected. The platform includes a guard rail and cantilevers out from a two post frame. The posts are identical and wedge between the floor and the ceiling due to the cantilever effect of the platform. Both vertical and inclined lengths of the posts may be individually adjusted for length. Non-skid bearing pads may be provided at post extremities.
