Abstract

The rail (10) is fixed to the base-structure which consists of a top (22) and bottom (20) plate, with an elastic layer (24) placed between them. Parts (24a) of the elastic layer extend beyond the top surface of the top plate (22), and bolts (30) with washers are inserted through this area. The rail (10) is secured to the base-structure by means of a pair of clips (50) with a slit through which bolts (52) pass and screw into threaded holes in the top-plate (22). Locking washers (54) are inserted between the bolts (52) and corresponding intermediate pieces (56) also assembled, by means of bolts (52) on the corresponding clips (50). A serrated piece (58) is mounted on each intermediate piece (56), with the serrated edge engaging into a complementary serrated edge of the corresponding clip (50).
