Abstract

The process is particularly for securing sockets in the lights of motor vehicles, and uses folded elastic portions (24) of rigid components (21) and incorporating hooks (24.1) securing the mounting (9) of the socket in position. The hooks are released by pressing the rear ends of the components inwards (27), this inwards movement being limited by stops (28), using hand pressure. The hooks also seal the assembly completely. The light body can have a skirt at the rear, whose rearmost face is flat all the way round.
