In a lamp to be fitted to a vehicle body comprising a reflector 2 carrying a light bulb 1, a frame 4 laterally surrounding the reflector and having its rear edge 3 abutting the vehicle, a transparent cover-plate 6 mounted in front of the reflector and a channel-shaped bracket 14 attached to the vehicle body with the parts of the lamp secured to the bent free ends 13 of the bracket by means of screws 10 passing through the plate 6, the rims of the reflector and frame and into holes 12 in the ends 13 of the bracket, the ends 13 of the bracket have projecting tongues 17 adapted to pass through slots 19 in the reflector and frame so that these are supported on the legs in a position such that the screw holes are substantially aligned. In the form shown, the reflector 2 and frame 4 are made in one piece, having a flat flange 5 between the edges of the reflector end frame, an elastic seal 7 being provided between the flange 5 and the cover-plate 6. The projecting tongues 17 have upwardly diverted hookshaped parts 18.
